How do I sign up?
Please type in your email address accurately so we
can contact you. When you sign up please do not put
punctuation in your name because it will cause problems
when you sign in.
I have multiple accounts.
Please do not sign up more than once as you do not
have any added advantage. Our policy allows only one
account per person and the system is monitored for
duplicate accounts. Duplicates will be deleted from
our system.
I signed up. What do I do next?
Once you fill out your initial information an automated
e-mail is sent to you with a code that will activate
your account. It is generated and sent immediately.
Sometimes the e-mail takes time to arrive to your
account depending on the time of day due to high levels
of internet traffic. Often the e-mails are sent to
the “Bulk” mail folder so be sure to check
for the message there as well as in your Inbox.
My computer crashed when I was signing up
and the verification code is gone. What do I do?
As long as you completed the first page you still
have an account. If you are unsure if your account
was processed go to the main page and click on the
"Forgot your password" link near the login
window and you will be emailed your username and password.
I have entered my information in to retrieve
my email address and I can't get the username and
password?
Often the email will take some time to be sent to
you depending on the time of day. Please make sure
you are not SPAM filtering us and therefore discarding
important emails. If after several hours you do not
receive the email please contact
us and we will reply as soon as possible.
I got my password but I still can't log in.
The login window says there is an error.
Please make sure that you don't have the caps lock
on. If you entered in your name, case sensitive when
you registered, then the password and username is
case sensitive.
I have many photos what should I upload?
Please upload professional headshots and poses for
primary and secondary images if they are available.
The next best thing to use is good quality photos
of yourself above the shoulders. Please do not send
- web cam photographs as they are of poor quality,
- group photos - (casting directors won't know which
person is you!)
- uncropped scans - (the displayed image of you will
be too small)
- pictures that obstruct your face - (hats, hands,
sunglasses, etc.)

I uploaded my pictures. I can't see them on
my website. Where are they?
The photos you uploaded are individually reviewed
by professional graphic artists before they are shown
which takes time. They can be seen on your website
once they are approved.
I received an email labeled "Your Picture
Has Been Reviewed" what do I do?
The email sent to you is referring to an image which
you uploaded. It has been disapproved for numerous
reasons. It is likely corrupted meaning that the upload
may have timed out before the image was sent to us
and therefore it is not viewable. Other reasons may
include nudity as we are an all ages website. The
photo may be too small or incorrectly cropped. It
may contain people other than you which is confusing
for casting directors to view. If the photo is irrelevant
and not a photo if you or an inanimate object it will
be disapproved.
How do I edit the photos I want to upload?
Using a program such as Adobe Photoshop, MGI Photosuite,
or - Paintshop Pro will allow you to convert the image
into jpeg for uploading.
What format of pictures should I upload?
We accept only one type of file. JPEG format is the
only type acceptable for compatibility reasons. Merely
renaming a different file format will not work.
How do I upload images?
Once you have the files, log in to your account at
the main Auditions.cn page and when you reach the
"Casting Calendar", click on the blue "My
Page" button and it will drop down and you can
select "Edit Pictures". Once you are at
the picture upload page click on "Browse"
to find the jpeg images that you want to upload and
then click "Upload" to upload the pictures.
This process can be used to edit or delete your pictures.
What types of files can I upload?
You can upload jpegs only due to internet browser
restrictions. Please upload your best pictures that
show your face clearly without obstructions or other
people present.
How do I upload pictures?
To edit your pictures you will need to log in using
your username and password. Once you are logged in
you will click on the "My Page" button and
it will drop down and you can select "Edit Pictures".
Once you are at the picture upload page click on "Browse"
to find the jpeg images that want to upload and then
click "Upload" to upload the pictures.
I don't have any digital pictures or a scanner.
What can I do?

The mailing process takes time and processing time
for us to scan and upload them so please allow two
weeks for the pictures to be placed on your website.
If you are a Pro Package member, you will receive
priority and have the images posted within 72 hours,
excluding weekends and holidays. If you would like
your prints mailed back to you please include a self-addressed
stamped envelope of appropriate size when mailing
the prints to us.
How do I change my profile information?
You will need to log in using your username and password
and then you can access your page. Once you are there,
click on the "My Account" button and select
"Model Info" and you can change your personal
information there.
I signed up but why are my images not in
the search?
Uploaded images are reviewed by our photography editors
and are screened for content and quality. If they
are poor or irrelevant or need improvements we will
email you requesting that you send another more suitable
photograph.
Why am I not in the search?
Once your pictures are approved it takes one business
day to activate your account and place it in the search.
How do I email my web profile to someone?
Log into your account using your username and password
and when at the casting calendar, the blue button
that says "My Email" will drop down and
you will see an option to "Email Profile".
Once you click on that it will take you to a new web
page that will allow you to email someone your website
address. Send it to casting directors, or show your
family and friends your new website!
What is my web address?
Your address is http://yourname.auditions.cn
Yourname is your login name.
How to cancel your 7-day trial Pro Subscription?
In order to avoid any payments to Auditions .cn you
must cancel your Trial prior to the end of your Trial
(that is, before the end of the seventh day). You
may cancel at any time during business hours 10AM-6PM
Pacific Time Monday - Friday by calling 323-785-2018
and make sure you speak to a live person, do not leave
a message, since it is not always clear who you are
through the message. You may also Send
Cancellation Request. Please include your talent
number, full name & telephone number. When you
cancel, your billing stops immediately, and no new
charges will be billed to you unless you re-instate
your subscription. If you signed up with PayPal as
your method of payment, please contact PayPal first
to cancel your billing subscription.
How to cancel your Pro Membership via PayPal?
If you have chosen Paypal, a third party billing company
to start your Pro Package Membership, please take
note that an account that is started with Paypal will
not have billing information in Auditions .cn. If
you need to modify, cancel, or change your payments,
you will need to do it through Paypal. Please keep
records of your Paypal transactions and e-mails, they
will send notification via e-mail regarding your billing.
To cancel an 'Active' Subscription with PayPal:
-Click https://www.paypal.com/HISTORY
or copy and paste the entire link into the address
bar.
-Choose the 'Subscriptions' field from the 'Show'
drop-down menu.
-Check the 'From' box and change date back 2 years.
-Click 'Search'
-To view the details of a specific 'Subscription Creation',
click 'Details' in the Details column.
-At the bottom of this page, click 'Cancel Subscription'
-On the confirmation page click 'Cancel Subscription'
again.
When viewing your subscription details, make sure
you are clicking on the transaction that is titled
'Subscription Creation' and not a payment transaction.
The scheduled payment will need to be cancelled at
least one day prior to the scheduled date of the next
payment. Canceling a subscription on the day of a
scheduled payment will not guarantee the payment will
not be sent.
I don't get any emails from Auditions .cn!
Why?
Your email provider maybe blocking the emails that
we send you. To insure that all of the emails are
going through please follow these
instructions. (Auditions .cn Privacy
Policy -- User Agreement)
FAQ) Why am I not provided with the contact
information when I am looking up castings under view
all castings?
A) Pro Members: All notices that apply to your model
information found on your Auditions .cnweb site are
found in your casting calendar. If there is no contact
information provided you would need to wait for the
casting director to request for you personally and
all necessary information will then be provided.
A) Non Pro Members: View all castings can be viewed
by all, contact information (if any) will be found
on the personal casting calendar of our Pro Package

FAQ) Why does the address and phone number
have "black x's" on the submissions on my
calendar? Shouldn’t I have that contact information?
A) This information does not reflect where the audition will take place.
This information is where the casting notice came from and does not apply
to talent.
FAQ) How do I know if you are really submitting
me for roles?
A) Each time our team of in-house booking and submissions reps submit
you (a Pro Package member) to a casting, you'll appear, automatically,
on the casting calendar, allowing you to constantly monitor our performance

FAQ) How come when I go to the site I cannot
view my proof sheets?
A) There could be many reasons why you cannot view
your proof sheets, please call Customer Service at

cannot view your business cards, please call Customer

FAQ) I thought I only signed up for one-month/3
months/6 months....
A) Services provided by Auditions .cn, which includes
the exposure to casting directors via submissions,
are recurring and uninterrupted for the talents benefit
unless otherwise notified. Meaning a cancellation
request prior to the service renewal date.
FAQ) How come I have not been called for auditions?
A) A casting director’s decision regarding who is called for auditions
is their decision and their decision only. Please make sure your images
are current and your profile is up to date.
FAQ) Why can’t I change my name or phone
number or email?
A) Primary contact information can only be changed by Customer Service
which safeguards against accidental deletion. This information is how
our Booking department reaches you for any audition.
FAQ) How do I use the calendar?
A) Pro Members: Each time our team of in-house booking
and submissions reps submit you to a casting, it will
appear, automatically, on the casting calendar, allowing
you to constantly monitor our performance in real-time.
The days that are marked "Submission" are
the days that you were submitted for castings by us.
If clicked on you can access the actual casting notice!
A) Non Pro Members: Your casting calendar reflects
each casting notice that your model information matches
as a pre-selection. In order to be submitted for the
notice you must be a Pro Package member.
FAQ) What are the different types of submissions?
A) 1. Digital (or soft copy) submission is an online submission done by
emailing your online profile.
2. Hard copy (Headshot with resume and/or zed card) submission is when
our Booking department mails the submission to the casting director using
the materials provided by talent.
3. Self-Response Notification submissions are when the casting director’s
contact information is provided to all matched talents. This is the opportunity
to make the decision whether or not to be submitted to this particular
casting.
4. Open call is an audition for matched talent!! Date, time and location
are provided in the casting notice for Pro Package members.
FAQ) How long before I get my first job?
A) This question cannot be answered…. work cannot be promised or
guaranteed.
FAQ) Why wasn't I submitted to this casting?
A) If there is a casting found that matches all criteria and is not found
on the calendar of a Pro Package member please call Customer Service right
away for each notice is time sensitive.
FAQ) Why don't I have any submissions on
my calendar?
A) There could be many reasons such as missing important
information; please call Customer Service at (323)
785-2020, as every situation is unique.
FAQ) Why do I get e-mails/ calls saying I have
a free account? I am a Pro Member.
A) In most cases there is a double account, please
call Customer Service to avoid any further contact
as a free member.
